To combat this significant feline health concern, the Cornell Feline Health Center is pleased to introduce Purrfect Weight™, an innovative iPhone application designed to assist owners in reaching specific weight loss goals tailored to their cats. Utilizing one of the specialized cat foods in our vast database or other commercial options that you can input, Purrfect Weight™ calculates a personalized weight loss regimen for your otherwise healthy overweight cat based on their weight and body condition (as determined by a veterinarian). The app includes customizable feeding and weighing reminders, features for tracking feeding and weight progress, practical advice for achieving a healthy weight, and alerts to consult a veterinarian if your cat loses weight too rapidly or slowly. Purrfect Weight™ is a user-friendly tool to aid you in guiding your cat towards an optimal weight and improved well-being.
